Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How do I register? Visit /register, enter your name and email, and enter the 6-digit code sent to your inbox.

Q2. Do I need to pay to register? No. Registration is free.

Q3. How do I log in? Enter your email on /login and use the 6-digit code emailed to you, or your password if you have set one.

Q4. I forgot my password. Click “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page. You will receive a reset link.

Q5. Why do I have to verify my email? To keep the community authentic and secure.

Q6. How long does profile approval take? Typically within 24–48 hours.

Q7. My profile was rejected. What now? The admin will send you a note explaining what to change. Update your profile and resubmit.

Q8. Can I edit my profile later? Yes, at any time from Dashboard → Matrimonial.

Q9. What photos are allowed? Clear front-face photos of yourself. No filters or heavy edits.

Q10. Do I have to upload ID? Optional now, may be required for premium verification in future.

Q11. Can strangers see my mobile number? No. Your number is hidden and revealed only when a signed-in member requests contact.

Q12. Can I hide my profile temporarily? Yes, from Dashboard → Matrimonial → Hide.

Q13. How do I search for a match? Use Dashboard → Browse Community with gender and age filters.

Q14. How do I report a profile? Each profile has a Report button; select the reason and submit.

Q15. Can I block another member? Yes; blocked members disappear from your Browse.

Q16. What safety precautions should I take? Never share OTPs or financial details. Meet only in safe public places.

Q18. Can I delete my account? Yes. Contact support or use the delete option in Account Security (coming soon).

Q19. Do you verify photos and documents? Yes, our team reviews every uploaded photo before your profile becomes public.
